Generally, it is a goal of the PTA to hold 3 free programs for every fundraising event that takes place. To get you started, here are some basic ideas for profitable fundraisers that will allow you to meet that goal.


#1. Sales: There is a very wide range of products out there that you can order and sell, ranging from gourmet nuts to calendars to pies. It is best to try and pick a product that has not been sold recently at your school or other local area schools.

#2. Carnival Night: Host a carnival full of games, prizes and entertainment. This brings parents, teachers and students together for some fun and has a high profit yield if advertised well.

#3. Carwash: Get the kids together for a fun day in the sun. Be sure to advertise this one as well.
